My name is Alyssa. I am a Registered Nurse and Nutritionist. I love talking all things nutrition and wellness. I believe in the importance of a healthy relationship with food, first and foremost. With this relationship as my guide, I work with individuals and families to educate and advocate for healthier and more fulfilling lifestyles through nutrition.
In my free time I’m often in my kitchen creating and trying new plant-based recipes with my family, or in our garden tending to green babies :) I am an advocate for sustainable and seasonal eating, supporting local farmers and growers, and learning more about how food not only affects us, but all living creatures and our planet.
The information I share with my clients is not anecdotal, but rather research and evidence-based. I filter through the research and nutrition trends, so you don't have to.
I have over 5 years of experience working as a nurse in the hospital setting as well as 2 years working in the school setting. In addition to my nursing and nutrition degrees, I recently completed a plant-based culinary certification through Rouxbe.
